The contract covers the procurement of disposable medium adult-sized anesthesia masks designed for effective delivery of anesthetic gases and respiratory assistance. These masks feature an adjustable air cushion with a hook ring, a flexible and anatomically contoured cushion to ensure a secure seal, and are made from crystal-clear PVC plastic to allow visibility and fit. Each mask includes a yellow callor ring for quick size identification. The units will be packaged in sealed, protective containers to prevent damage during shipment, following commercial standards and marking in accordance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1. Each package contains 30 masks, with a shelf life of 36 months, and no more than five months may expire between manufacture and delivery. Delivery requirements specify three packages to be delivered within five days, with all units labeled with pertinent information such as NSN, manufacturer details, dates of manufacture and expiration, contract and lot numbers. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain for MD SURG FSF, with the place of performance in Williamsburg. The contract references adherence to specific technical and quality requirements specified by the Defense Logistics Agency, ensuring compliance with packaging, marking, and shipment protocols for medical supplies.
