The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is procuring MathWorks MATLAB® software licenses, associated mission-essential toolboxes, and annual software maintenance services to establish a standardized, high-fidelity computational environment for engineering analysis, modeling, simulation, and data processing across Marine Corps tactical systems. This acquisition addresses a critical gap in current capabilities by providing a unified, scalable platform that supports advanced numerical computing, algorithm development, signal processing, and machine learning workflows necessary for system testing, evaluation, and informed acquisition decisions. The procurement is justified under a brand-name determination due to the proprietary nature of MATLAB® and the absence of technically equivalent alternatives that meet operational requirements without performance degradation, with delivery and performance spanning from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The package includes two renewed MATLAB software maintenance service licenses, one new MATLAB license, and fifteen specialized toolboxes including 5G, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Signal Processing, Statistics and Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and others, each requiring three licenses to support multiple system engineering teams.
