OUSW(R&E) Mission Capabilities (MC) Office


Industry Engagement Technical Exchange Meeting


WHAT: The Assistant Secretary of War for Mission Capabilities (ASW(MC)), in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)), is hosting a Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) with industry.  This engagement provides private industry with an update on the threats and challenges OUSW(R&E) programs are attempting to address. Additional info is available at the OUSW(R&E) website (https://ac.cto.mil/).


The overall classification of the event is SECRET // FVEY. Advanced registration is required (U.S. Citizen Registration Link: https://secwww.jhuapl.edu/EventLink/Event/648 Foreign Citizen Registration Link: https://secwww.jhuapl.edu/EventLink/Event/649), all registrants must submit their clearance via a Visitor Access Request (VAR).


WHY: Mission Capabilities drives efforts to compete with adversaries through the development of capabilities that support the joint warfighter including, but not limited to, Contested Logistics, C-C5ISRT, and Multi-Domain Collaborative Autonomy. Mission Capabilities coordinates these efforts through multiple programs with independent pathways for industry participation in experimentation, prototypes, and capabilities that explore new concepts. This TEM will enable the illustration of the current and future operating environments and the associated priority technical challenges. The TEM will also provide participants with a better understanding of ASW(MC)’s vision, technical priorities, and challenges, while directly enabling interested industry partners to explore partnerships with Government subject matter experts and leadership.  Networking opportunities will occur throughout the day, with specific venues occurring at the end of the day.
