NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE


Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Harris American Company, 315 W 12th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia 31015-2333, United States in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a), that only one source reasonably available under Restrictive Rights.


THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 


This requirement is for the purchase of an annual performance assessment, maintenance, and parts repair of recycling equipment within the Qualified Recycling Program Building at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany. Equipment includes a cardboard/paper baling machine (Model No. TR9-50 and CY-48900). All equipment and services are manufactured by Harris American.


Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.  Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 12:00 PM EDST, 17 August 2026.
