Full Description

This notice is to announce that the Government intends to solicit the 35 NSNs listed below in the near future. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The Solicitation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The response date referenced above is estimated. The Solicitation Issue Date is on or about December 10, 2008, with the Response date on or around January 16, 2009. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Type of Contract: The United States Government (USG) will award fixed price with Economic Price Adjustment contracts; issuance of more than one award is anticipated as award will be made per NSN for the supplies covered. Indefinite Quantity Contracts (1 year basic with four 1-year option periods) are anticipated. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.
