Request for Standing Offer 01B46-22-066Mechanical services for Charlottetown Research andDevelopment Centre, and the Harrington Research FarmOffers for the project indicated above, addressed to the attention of the Contract Officer, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will be accepted by EMAIL ONLY at the following address, up to the tender closing date and time indicated below:Aafc.escprocurement-cseapprovisionnement.aac@agr.gc.caScope of Work:The Charlottetown Research and Development Centre of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is a major research facility with buildings located in both Charlottetown and in Harrington:- The Charlottetown property includes the Main Complex located at 440 University Av., Charlottetown, PE, C1A 4N6, as well as all buildings on the Home Farm which are accessible via Mount Edward Road;- The Harrington property includes several buildings located at 1200 Brackley Point Rd, Harrington, PE, C1E 1P9.The purpose of this Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) is to issue Departmental Individual Standing Offer (DISO) to obtain the services described in the Statement of Work - Appendix “A”, at the Charlottetown Research and Development Centre and the Harrington Research FarmThe period of the Standing Offer will be one (1) calendar year from the date of signature of the SOagreement with the possibility to extend the Standing Offer four (4) additional one (1) year period underthe same conditions.Site Visit:It is recommended that firms intending to submit an offer for this project visit the work site. A site visit will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2022 at 10:00am local time at the commissionaire desk at Agriculture and Agri-food Canada Charlottetown Research and Development Centre, 440 University Avenue, Charlottetown, PEI C1A 4N6. Participants to the visit will be requested to sign an attendance form. Participants shall present themselves ten minutes before the visit scheduled start time. Please refer to article 2.6 of the RFSO for more information.Attendance to this visit is NOT MANDATORY but Firms that do not attend will not be given an alternative appointment, although they will not be precluded from submitting an offer. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation and will be posted on BuyandSell.gc.caTender Period Closing Date and Time: October 17, 2022 at 02:00 pm (EDT).Information requests and inquiries related to this tender process are to be directed, BY EMAIL, ONLY to the AAFC Contract Officer identified below.
