Media & Communications Surplus Ambulance Bid

The City of Belfast Media and Communications is requesting bids for the piece of surplus equipment listed below:Equipment: 2011 Ford E450 Ambulance VIN# 1FDXE4FS3BDA21402The truck is being sold as is with no explicit or implied warranties. The winning bidder is responsible for the truck’s conveyance from City property once awarded.The Media and Communications Department has set the minimum bid at $2500If you wish to bid on this piece of equipment, you must provide the following information:Name:Address:Contact Phone #:Bid amount (minimum of $2500) written out:This information must be sent or delivered in a sealed envelope to the City Clerk’s Office: Belfast City HallAttn: Clerk’s Office131 Church StBelfast, ME 04915The envelope needs to be clearly marked with the following:“Media and Communications Ambulance Bid”All bids are due to the City Clerk’s Office on October 8th, by noon. Bids will be opened at or about 2pm the same day. The high bidder will be notified and will have one week to respond and provide payment to the City for the equipment (October 22nd). Should this bidder not respond or fail to provide payment, the ambulance can then be awarded to the next highest bidder at the City’s discretion.
