Supply Chain Coordination Limited is establishing a non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of medical pulp and associated products, including disposable medical pulp, support products, macerators, bedpan washers, and absorbent products. These items are intended to assist with patient toileting, sample collection, and the administration of procedures, with distribution occurring via Stock, eDirect, and Direct routes to market. The framework is divided into four lots, with Lot 2 and Lot 3 specifically requiring technical services such as installation, commissioning, disposal, and servicing. The agreement is scheduled to run for 48 months, from July 5, 2027, to July 4, 2031, with an estimated total expenditure of approximately 120,000,000 GBP excluding VAT. To participate, suppliers must hold accreditation in ISO 9001:2015, BS EN ISO 13485:2016, or the Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDAP). Additional mandatory requirements include a Carbon Reduction Plan, a Modern Slavery Assessment Tool completion, cyber security compliance, and valid product, public, and employers liability insurance. The procurement process allows for the award of multiple suppliers per lot who meet a 50 percent hurdle, with subsequent call-off contracts potentially awarded through electronic auctions as part of a reopening competition process.
