NOTICE OF AWARD AND NOT A SOLICITATION THIS NOTICE IS POSTED TO ANNOUNCE THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACT LISTED BELOW. THIS IS ALSO TO NOTIFY FUTURE PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS THAT MAY BE INTERESTED IN SIMILAR FUTURE SOLICITATIONS. ANNOUNCEMENT: THE WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) ACQUISITIION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, BETHESDA, MD ON BEHALF OF WRNMM, IS ISSUING THIS NOTICE OF AWARD OF SOLE SOURCE PROCURNMENT TO INTEGRA NEUROSCIENCES IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,200.00, NEUROLOGICA CORP $39,000.00, WOUNDCARE TECH $31,555.00, MEDTRONIC 39,152.00 AND DEPUY $33,841.85. THE AWARD IS BASED ON INTERNAL NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS UNDER URGENT AND COMPELLING CIRCUMSTANCES FOR SERVICES SPECIFIED IN THE REQUIREMENTS. THE CONTRACT IS AWARDED BASED ON GOVERNMENT'S CONSIDERATION OF ITS BEST INTEREST APPYING BEST VALUE AS PRIMARY AND PRICE AS SECONDARY FACTORS OF AWARD. THE GOVERNMENT DETERMINED TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE. UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.301 ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THEREFORE, THIS IS A NOTICE OF AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE PRICE QUOTE (RFQ). A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO SEEK COMPETETIVE QUOTE ON THIS PROCUREMENT HAS BEEN MADE AND ANY RESPONSE TO THIS NOICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
