Melfred Borzall Planned Development Amendment and Conditional Use Permit

The City of Santa Maria is reviewing a Permit Amendment (A2025-0007) to a Planned Development Permit (PD-2008-009) and a Conditional Use Permit (U2025-0008) for Melfred Borzall. The project is located on a 2.15-acre site at 2712 Airpark Drive within the PD/M-1 Planned Development/Light Manufacturing district. The scope of work includes remodeling the existing industrial building's office space through a minor conversion of non-office space to office space, establishing an outdoor storage yard, and processing a parking reduction request. The project was issued a Notice of Exemption on December 9, 2025, determining that it is exempt from further environmental review under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections 15301 and 15303. This determination is based on the lack of significant environmental impacts, hazardous or historical resource concerns, or unusual circumstances.
