Full Description

The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport, CA intends to award a contract on a Sole Source basis to Metric Motors, Inc. (DBA Metric Automotive), 7630 Alabama Ave 1, Canoga Park CA 91304, for the following items and quantities: CLIN 0001: Rebuild of Mercedes engine 603.950 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Quantity: 5. Delivery: Government delivery pick-up from the location of the contrator. This purchase will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. MCMWTC Bridgeport, CA has determined that no other sources are available. This notice is not a Request for Quote, however, vendors may identify their interest and capability. All inquiries received by the Government before February 17, 2012 at 12:00 PM (Pacific) will be considered to determine if the Government will conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
