This is not a Solicitation of Quote. In accordance with Federal Acquisition regulation 19.202-2(a), the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is cconducting market research to locate business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310Commercial & Industrial Machinery & Equipment, which set the business threshold at $1.7 million dollars. DeCA is seeking qualified contractors for the acquisition of maintenance, Materiel Handling Equipment (MHE) forklift, Pallet Jack and POrder Picker at below 13 locations in Japan. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to repair and maintain Materiel Handling Equipment (MHE) for all Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and Central Distribution Centers (CDC) facilities located in Japan (except Okinawa) as outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Maintenance and repair shall be in compliance with all manufacturer specifications, local military, Government of Japan (GoJ), and U.S. Federal laws and regulatory OSHA, DOD, DeCA standards and Installation environmental regulations, including the Japanese Environmental Governing Standards. The period of performance are projectd to consiste of a base of 12 months and 4 options of 12 months. The successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Electronic Document Access (EDA) is a requirmenet for any offeror that receives a contract award resulting from a solicitation.
