We serve the uniformed services and the Nation as an outstanding academic health sciences center with a worldwide perspective for education, research, service, and consultation; we are unique in relating these activities to military medicine, disaster medicine, and military medical readiness. The requested microscope will be used by a number of departments and principal investigators at USU with research efforts focused on a wide range of areas from improving the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury to cancer research. See attached specification sheet and attached list of microscopes USU already has. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
