The Department of Defense, specifically the 30th Contracting Squadron at Vandenberg Air Force Base, is soliciting quotes for the procurement of mid-wave infrared camera systems and ancillary equipment under RFQ F4D1F35162AC02. This acquisition is part of a six-year digital transformation effort to enable space launch personnel to visually monitor launch operations, space vehicle separation, and anomalies during conditions that would otherwise obstruct visibility. The requirement consists of eight CLINs for camera systems, data recorders, and support modules, specifically seeking products brand name or equal to FLIR models RS6701 and RS6813. This is a full and open competition under NAICS 333314, and the government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable vendor. Eligible bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management and submit written offers using the provided quote template. Technical requirements for the systems include specific detector types, spectral ranges, and high-speed imaging capabilities to ensure the equipment meets the necessary performance standards for range and scientific infrared monitoring.
