Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.REQUIREMENTParks Canada requires a Contractor to replace the source water collection tank at Miette Hot Springs in Jasper National Park. The Work includes demolition of the existing concrete source water collection tank, and the supply and installation of a new steel-bolted source water collection tank, along with supporting process piping and ancillary equipment.To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 > $ 500,000, Taxes extra.PERIOD OF CONTRACT / DELIVERY DATEContractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than January 31, 2024. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be an optional site visit on March 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM MST. Interested bidders are to meet at the lobby of the Miette Hot Springs (MHS) pool. Once leaving highway 16, the road up to the MHS pool is 18km and is not well maintained in winter. A four wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. The gate which will be encountered at the 2km mark on this road will be dummy locked. Please close the gate behind but do not lock.Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the optional site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.ENQUIRIESAll enquiries of a technical and contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority.Enquiries regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than five business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response.
