Contractors are invited to bid on the Ethan Allen Firing Range (EAFR) Castle Trail Paving project for the State of Vermont Military Department (State) at the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho, Vermont. This project’s location is a portion of Castle Trail. The location begins approximately 1,000 feet east of range 5-1 and ends approximately 4,500 feet east of the start point. This project consists of but is not limited to providing design services and construction for paving Castle Trail from local known stations 36+50 to 81+50. The existing road is gravel, approximately 20 feet wide, and has some areas greater than 8% grade. There are approximately 1,000 feet of RAP Switchbacks. Project will also include adding new culverts, reclaiming existing asphalt, and ledge removal.
