Minnewawa Avenue FID Improvements

Project CIP 26-18 involves the Minnewawa Avenue FID Improvements for the City of Clovis, California. The scope of work includes clearing and grubbing, construction of concrete sidewalks and ADA curb returns, the extension and reinstallation of a salvaged fire hydrant, and the installation of an RGRCP irrigation main and a 60-inch FID standpipe, along with modifications to an existing standpipe. The project must be completed within 25 working days from the Notice to Proceed and adheres to the City of Clovis 2020 Standard Specifications, Caltrans 2018 Standard Specifications, and Fresno Irrigation District standards. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the amount of the base bid. Bidders must hold a valid California contractor's license and provide a bid bond of at least 10 percent of the bid amount. Upon award, the contractor is required to provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. Payment is structured through progress invoices with a 5 percent retention held by the City, which is released 35 days after final City Council acceptance. Final acceptance requires a successful walkthrough and the completion of all punch list items.
