Full Description

Description: The 5th Contracting Squadron announces the upcoming solicitation for Roofing construction services at Minot AFB, ND. The government will be soliciting for a single-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This solicitation will be issued for a 100% Small Business Set-Aside concern. Award will be made, in accordance with the acquisition procedures established in FAR 15.101-2, to the offeror whose evaluated offer/proposal represented the lowest price technically acceptable. The performance period for this contract shall consist of one (1) base year with an option to extend up to one (1) additional year, for a possible period of two (2) years. This includes a winter exclusion period from 15 October to 15 April. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 238160, with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. The government anticipates the Request for Proposal to be issued on or about March/April 2013. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files. Notice to Offerors: NOTE 1: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam/gov/ before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database will cause your firm to be ineligible for any future award. NOTE 2: "Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs."
