The intent of this request is to establish a list of pre-approved companies or individuals that can provide Consultant Services to the District. This proposal will be awarded to multiple vendors on an incremental basis during the solicitation offering period. Vendors are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible. On a periodic basis, submitted proposals will be opened, evaluated, and either accepted or rejected by the district. Awards will be made throughout the open period of solicitation and will be made upon acceptance of a proposal response. Proposers will then be notified of the district's decision. The contract period will be from the date of award through June 24th. Contracts will automatically renew each year with the final renewal expiring on June 24, 2031, unless cancelled by the District or Vendor 30 days in advance. Miscellaneous Consultant Services shall be defined as, "services rendered by personnel who are not on the payroll of the Mesquite Independent School District. Services delivered by an independent contractor (individual, entity, or firm) that offers its services to the public, and whose specialized services are usually considered to be temporary or short-term in nature, normally in areas that supplement the expertise of the school district.” If your company was already awarded on "RFP 2023-018 - Miscellaneous Consultant Services", and the district uses Federal Funds to pay for your services, you will be required to complete this RFP. If your company was already awarded on "RFP 2023-018 - Miscellaneous Consultant Services", and you complete this RFP, your RFP 2023-018 contract will be terminated and replaced with the new RFP.
