Seeking sources for two motor vehicle parts, particularly national stock number (NSN) 2540-01-560-2062 Control Box, Electrical, Vehicular and Relay; and NSN 5945-01-536-6091Solid State. Both NSNs have the same two approved sources AM General (34623) and Riverside Manufacturing (96139). The subsequent solicitation will be for a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three year base and two "one-year" option periods. Prices will be fixed and adjusted annually by a fixed percentage. The support of these items will be through DLA Direct requirements. All DLA inventory points will be authorized to use the resulting contract. The acquisition will be for supplies for which the data or the rights to use the data needed to purchase the parts from additional sources are not owned by the Government and it has been determined that it is uneconomical to purchase them. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors that will be described in the solicitation. This acquisition will be issued as unrestricted, using other than full and open competition with a limited number of sources, citing authority 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This reference authority is for the Non-set-aside portion of this procurement. Only the non-set-aside portion is initially solicited and completed. The solicitation and other information will reflect only 50% of the annual demand quantity (ADQ). An award will first be made on the non-set-aside portion. See FAR 19-502-3(c) for information regarding partial set-aside procedures. NSN 2540015602062 and NSN 5945015366091 will not be evaluated on an "All or None" basis because we may need to give a portion of the business to a large business and the other portion to a small business in accordance with the partial set aside guidance. Interested persons may identify to the contract specialist their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement. Please be sure to list any sources that are able to manufacture the item, the location of the manufacturer (City and State and Country if OCONUS), point of contact's name, phone numbers, and email address
