The contract involves repairing a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that was involved in a deer collision, issued by the Minnesota Department of Transportation's Detroit Lakes district. Bidders must submit their responses exclusively through the Supplier Portal by the specified deadline of July 18, 2024, and responses are only considered valid once the 'Submit Bid' button is clicked, with confirmation received upon successful submission. The solicitation emphasizes that only responsible bidders meeting all specifications and terms will be considered, with the award potentially made on a per-item basis, grouped items, or total bid, depending on what is most advantageous to the state. The contract value is estimated to range between $5,000 and $15,000. The process requires registered suppliers to ensure their registration is current before the award notice, and those needing assistance with registration or response submission can contact the Contractor Assistance Helpdesk at [phone hidden], Option 1. The Minnesota Transportation Department will evaluate bids based on compliance with the requirements, and the lowest responsible bidder that meets all criteria will be awarded the contract. The primary point of contact for inquiries is Bryan Delaney, a state employee, and additional information can be accessed through the provided online portal link.
