Model School Facility Standard Plans

RFI 1454 is a Request for Information issued by the State of Idaho Division of Purchasing to gather feedback and market research for the development of a future solicitation. The objective is to identify professional design teams capable of creating a statewide framework of standardized, scalable, and adaptable school facility designs. These templates are intended to reduce redundant design costs, accelerate project timelines, and ensure consistent quality across Idaho public and charter school districts. The project focuses on three primary model templates: an elementary school, a middle or junior high school, and a high school with scalable capacity for 1A through 6A enrollment levels. This process is not a formal solicitation for bids or proposals, and no contract award will result directly from this RFI. The State is seeking expertise in K-12 educational facilities, modular design systems, code compliance, and cost modeling to help refine the Scope of Work and determine an appropriate budget range. Interested suppliers were asked to RSVP by October 9, 2026, to participate in virtual strategy discussions scheduled for October 22, 2026.
