Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, MD (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source Modification to Teledyne RD Instruments, Inc. The contract is for the MK 15 MOD 1 Underwater Imaging System (UIS) which is a detection, navigation and reacquisition tool for udnerwater divers with mine countermeasure missions. The UIS was designed as a low-magnetic system per MIL-DTL-19595. The procurement is to increase the quantities for the following parts of the UIS: (1) CLIN 0006, DHU Assembly Part No. 7458610; (2) CLIN 0030, Production Units Diver's Visual Imaging System (DVIS) in accorance with ECP No. UW 05-018; (3) CLIN 0032, Line Replaceable Unit Electronics Assembly Diver's Visual Imaging System in accordance with ECP No. UW 05-018. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334119. The FSC code is 6650. The resulting modification will be fixed price. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition p! rocedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 - (1). See Note 22.
