Full Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to issue a modification to existing contract N00406-05-D-5001 awarded to CDI Marine Company, Jacksonville FL, for marine design and engineering services. The justification uses Federal Acquisition Regulation part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The modification is to extend the period of performance by twelve months and to increase the estimated level of effort hours and dollars and to increase the not-to-exceed authorizations for the other direct costs. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, it is anticipated that a request for proposal will be forthcoming during calendar year 2010 for a follow-on contract.
