Solicitation # W56KGY-26-PNT-0002
The Department of Defense, through the Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, is conducting market research via solicitation W56KGY-26-PNT-0002 to identify commercially available, non-developmental M-Code Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) solutions for mounted vehicles. The primary objective is to find affordable, production-ready solutions and Anti-Jam Antenna Systems (AJAS) that are compatible with Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR) A-Kit mounts and space claims. These capabilities are intended to ensure operational effectiveness in environments characterized by adversary GPS denial and deception. As part of this effort, the Project Manager PNT hosted a virtual industry event on September 29, 2026, to discuss strategic updates, emerging opportunities in Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR), and collaborative partnerships. This action is a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation or a commitment to award a contract. The government is evaluating various acquisition strategies, including Commercial Solutions Openings, Indefinite-Delivery Contracts, and Reverse Auctions. Interested industry partners are required to provide technical data, production capacity for up to 10,000 units per year, and cost estimates for one, three, and five-year contract durations. Additionally, respondents must disclose their foreign ownership status, CMMC certification levels, and facility security clearances. All responses must be submitted via DoD SAFE to the designated points of contact, Charles Compton and Major Bryant Burch.

Ultrasound Diagnostic System, Hand Carried (USHC) - Prototype
Solicitation # W91CRB-RPP-USHC
The Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground, Project Manager Maneuver Medical Systems is soliciting proposals for a hand-carried Ultrasound Diagnostic System (USHC) to support medical operations in austere Role of Care 3 environments. This effort is being conducted as a Direct Other Transaction Agreement under 10 U.S.C. 4022 and is not a FAR-based contract. The government seeks a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf or Non-Developmental Item that is FDA cleared for human use and Trade Agreements Act compliant. Selected vendors will deliver two prototype units for operational and environmental testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810H. A key incentive of this OTA is that a noncompetitive follow-on production contract may be awarded to the prototype participants without further competition. Proposals are due by 1600 EST on November 20, 2026, and must be submitted via DoD SAFE or secure email to the Agreements Officer. Submissions must be organized into four volumes covering the executive summary, technical approach, management and past performance, and a holistic cost proposal. Evaluation will be based on a comparative best-fit methodology, where non-cost factors such as technical approach, schedule realism, and past performance are weighted more heavily than price. The estimated period of performance is twelve months starting in FY27 Q1, with prototype delivery expected 45 to 60 days after award. The system must operate as a standalone device and comply with NIST SP 800-171 for handling Controlled Unclassified Information.
