Meadowlands Sustainment
Solicitation # FA8819(10-2026)
The Space Systems Command, located at Los Angeles Air Force Base, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify capable contractors for the sustainment of the Counter Communications System (CCS) Meadowlands. This effort involves the technical, logistical, software, and hardware support for a geographically dispersed fleet of up to 56 systems operating across the UHF, L, C, Ku, and KA RF bands. The scope of work includes organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance, supply chain management for obsolescence and spares, and comprehensive software sustainment including cybersecurity remediation and configuration control. The systems are deployed across USCENTCOM and USPACOM, with additional support requirements for EUCOM, SOUTHCOM, and NORTHCOM. The government is considering a firm-fixed-price contract structure with potential performance incentives based on metrics such as mission-effective system-hours. The envisioned period of performance is approximately six years, consisting of a one-year base period and five option years. Due to the nature of the work, contractors must be capable of operating within secure facilities at various security levels, including Secret, TS/SCI, and SAP F. While currently listed with no set-aside, the government reserves the right to set the acquisition aside for small businesses, including woman-owned and socially disadvantaged firms. Interested parties must submit a Statement of Capabilities by November 18, 2026, detailing their technical approach to mission effectiveness, workforce surge capacity, and transition continuity.

Intent to Sole Source - Lunar Exploration Ground Sites (LEGS) Public Private Partnership (PPP)
Solicitation # 80GRC027R0003
NASA Glenn Research Center intends to award a sole source contract to KSAT Inc. under FAR 6.103-1 and FAR Part 12 to establish the Lunar Exploration Ground Sites (LEGS) through a Public Private Partnership. This initiative aims to develop a global network of ground stations providing high-availability, direct-to-Earth communications and navigation for NASA's Artemis and Moonbase initiatives. The network will support spacecraft operating between 36,000 kilometers and 2 million kilometers from Earth using X-band and Ka-band frequencies. The project involves integrating two NASA-provided 20-meter antennas and establishing at least four additional sites to ensure full redundancy. The contract has a period of performance of five years from award, with a phased operational rollout requiring three operational sites by October 15, 2027, six antennas for full redundancy by October 15, 2028, and an enhanced configuration of nine antennas by October 2029. The contractor must adhere to strict technical standards, including SCaN-SRD Revision 7 and International Communication System Interoperability Standards, while maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule. Security requirements are rigorous, necessitating compliance with NIST SP 800-171 for Controlled Unclassified Information and obtaining an Authorization to Operate for systems within the NASA environment. Acceptance of deliverables is subject to NASA's written approval following Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.

Full Description

The Move Out/Jump Off (MOJO) Mini system arms you with real-time air/ground situational awareness and network functions on the go. Designed for size, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained applications including small vehicles and boats, the MOJO Mini is a complete line-of-sight and beyond-line-of-sight communications system for on-the-move and at-the-pause air, land, and sea applications. Equipped with a Small Tactical Terminal (STT), the MOJO Mini packs rapidly-deployable Link 16, TADIL-J, and VHF/UHF (SINCGARS, SRW*, ANW2C*, satcom, IW, and DAMA) networking in a very compact and ruggedized package that is carry-on sized. The Small Tactical Terminal (STT) KOR-24A, is a two-channel radio designed to meet the needs of users who have size, weight, and power constraints but need the information available on Link 16 networks and tactical VHF/UHF. The STT will allow Red Flag Rescue to have simultaneous access to Link 16 and either wideband UHF or legacy VHF/UHF. This terminal is packaged in an affordable, industry-standard compact form and ruggedized to meet demanding travel and environmental requirements. Red Flag Rescue will have a single terminal that provides both LOS and BLOS TADIL J connectivity. Why that system? RF-R needs a truck portable (small form factor) all in one system for Tactical Datalink integration. Based on research this is the only device that does this. Further, there are other units on the base who support/participate in our exercise who also use the MOJO mini. Use of a common system between units allows for technical info sharing and support in the wing. What required specs are driving toward that system? Requirement to combine SADL and LINK-16 Tactical Data link in an austere environment and connect to our Hawkeye III (L3 Technologies) system for over the horizon data transfer. What are the unique delivery installation terms that may be needed. None. Does this system need to interact with existing radio infrastructure or equipment? Link-16, Saddle, Harris radios, and L3 Hawkeye III.
