Moreno Drive Asphalt Paving

The Beverly Hills Unified School District is soliciting bids for the Moreno Drive Asphalt Paving project (FAC-2026-27-03), located adjacent to Beverly Hills High School between Robbins Drive and South Young Drive. The scope of work involves the grind and overlay of approximately 1,700 square feet of asphalt, limited to one-half of the street width, with a variable grinding depth of 1 to 3 inches. Key deliverables include the partial removal and in-kind replacement of existing speed bumps, the adjustment of utility covers to be flush with the new surface, and the restoration of all removed traffic striping and markings to current standards. The contractor is responsible for all construction debris removal and site restoration. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on a total lump sum amount. Bidders must hold a C-12 or A license and attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on October 6, 2026, with sealed bids due by 1:00 p.m. on October 15, 2026. Submission requirements include a 10 percent bid security, a noncollusion declaration, and an Iran Contracting Act certification. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price and complete all work within seven consecutive days from the Notice to Proceed.
