Full Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses from responsible sources. Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), San Diego, CA, intends to enter into a contract with E2M TECHNOLOGIES B.V., CAGE H2G32, AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS. The statutory authority for this procurement is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source.
Item/Service Description
Services are for the Motion Base component of the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) Extended virtual reality (VR) and treadmill system. E2M TECHNOLOGIES B.V is the OEM of the Motion Base, and the Government requires E2M’s services as follows:
- Train NHRC technicians on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the Motion Base.
- Engineering support to co-develop with NHRC engineers an interface with Unity 3D/VR video engine in order to control the motion base directly.
