Motrec International — Airside ground equipment

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, has established a Master Agreement with Motrec International Inc. for the provision of airside ground support equipment and related services. This IDIQ contract covers a wide range of transportation commodities, including pushback tractors, power units, baggage handling, and refueling equipment. The agreement is designed to serve a broad network of participating governmental, educational, nonprofit, and tribal agencies across the United States and Canada, aiming to provide these entities with cost savings and administrative efficiencies. The contract has an estimated total value of 211,429,337 CAD and a base term of four years, expiring on March 13, 2030, with options for three one-year extensions. Award selection was based on a trade-off evaluation process totaling 1,000 points, with the heaviest weights placed on pricing, the depth and breadth of offered solutions, and the ability to sell and deliver. Performance is decentralized, occurring at the sites of various participating entities. All equipment and services must comply with current applicable safety and regulatory standards, with warranties required to meet or exceed industry standards.
