This contract will facilitate the acquisition of a Mounted PNT capability for US Marine Corps platforms that cannot accommodate the MAPS GEN II program due to its size and weight constraints, or because of specific deployment requirements. This Mounted capability will utilize Military Global Positioning Service (GPS) User Equipment (MGUE) Increment I technology. MGUE program involves multiple increments, with MGUE Increment I focusing on developing Military Code (M-code) receiver form factors. M-code is a new military signal transmitted by GPS satellites that is more secure and resistant to jamming than the previous P(Y) code that is utilized on legacy Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module based receivers.
