This contract covers the procurement of 848 units of a mounting base identified by National Stock Number 5975-01-121-1359, with a delivery timeline of 71 days after the order date. It is issued under solicitation number SPE4A7-26-Q-0575 by the Department of Defense’s ASC Supplier Operations AE and AF Division. The contract incorporates stringent technical and quality requirements, referencing standards from the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Master List and adhering to several defense-related cybersecurity and packaging standards, including CMMC Level 2 certifications and DLA packaging requirements. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are explicitly prohibited in the hardware except where functionally necessary in specified equipment, and the contractor must use the most current revisions of applicable drawings, military specifications, and standards. Quality control is governed by established military sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based plans, with verification levels defined for critical, major, and minor attributes to ensure compliance. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, and export control regulations apply rigorously; the technical data involved is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Access to export-controlled technical data requires prior approval through DLA’s certification and training processes. The contract specifies removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and detailed requirements related to cybersecurity, packaging, and data handling to ensure security and compliance throughout the procurement process. The primary point of contact for this solicitation is Johanna Cruz Cruz from the DLA.
