PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Chattahoochee National Forest is soliciting for contractors able to provide recurring roadside mowing and brushcutting activities. Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other incidentals. Work requires an articulated boom mower with a minimum 17-foot reach, capable of cutting trees up to 4-inches diameter. This solicitation will result in the award of multiple indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity contracts with one base period and four option years that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Each task order will list specific roads and activity items. The guaranteed minimum amount for each awarded contract, inclusive of the base and all option periods, will be $3,000. Total task orders issued under all contracts shall not exceed $1,000,000 over the base period and four option years. Offerors will be evaluated on 1) experience in roadside mowing and brushcutting activities on single lane forest roads in southeastern mountain areas, 2) equipment, and 3) past performance on similar contracts.
