MPA 589 PK-12 School Redesign and Strategic Support Services

The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) is seeking qualified organizations through an open enrollment solicitation, number OET26006798, to provide PK-12 school and district improvement, turnaround, and redesign support services. The primary objective is to partner with Local Education Agencies to strengthen district systems for continuous improvement and implement redesign strategies for low-performing schools. These services must align with the WestEd Center for School Turnaround framework and RIDE priority areas, including reducing chronic absenteeism, improving postsecondary success, and supporting multilingual and differently abled learners. Key deliverables include the development of improvement frameworks, strategic planning for budgeting and staffing, leadership coaching to build instructional capacity, and the implementation of community engagement strategies.
