The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) extension to the existing contract, N00019-16-C-0027 to Raytheon Company, Dulles, VA, for the MQ-8 Fire Scout UAS 2016 Tactical Control System (TCS) Linux Cyber Initial Baseline Software Release Implementation of Build 9. This contract was awarded to Raytheon Company in the amount of $1,166,741.00. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
