The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded Fixed Price Incentive Firm & Firm Fixed Price modification to the existing Production contract N00019-16-C-0055 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, CA, for the procurement of five (5) Fire Scout MQ-8C Unmanned Air Systems and two lightweight fuel cells. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
