The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD awarded contract (N00019-20-C-0031) to General Atomics - Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA on 19 June 2020. Under this contract, GA-ASI will deliver two (2) MQ-9A Reaper Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), one (1) Dual Control Mobile Ground Control Station, one (1) Modular Data Center, and one (1) Mobile Ground Control Station in support of NAVAIR's MQ-9A Reaper System Program. This contract was awarded to GA-ASI in the amount of $26,866,441. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
