Remote Site Helicopter Transport and LogisticsThe contract entails the specialized helicopter transport of hydrometeorological station components and equipment to a remote, inaccessible location within Sequoia National Park, requiring meticulous lift planning and ground handling to ensure safe and efficient delivery. This includes coordinating precise load configurations, securing landing zones, and executing all logistics under strict operational constraints imposed by the park’s rugged terrain and environmental sensitivity. All activities must be conducted with full environmental compliance, including pre- and post-transport site assessments, noise and emissions control, and waste management protocols. The contractor is responsible for managing every phase of the operation, from initial site reconnaissance to final equipment setup and reporting, ensuring that no component is damaged during transit and that all logistical actions align with the conservation priorities of the region.
