The Missile Defense Agency has definitized the award of an Undefinitized Contract Action which was a sole source award to Orbital Sciences Corporation, 3380 S. Price Road, Chandler, AZ 85248, for acquisition of one (1) Medium Range Target (MRT) System for mission Japanese Flight Test Mission (JFTM)-3 with a priced option for an additional MRT in support of JFTM-4 under the Firm-Fixed-Priced Contract HQ0147-08-C-0003. Both the basic and option activities will include related target vehicle integration activities and Mission/Launch Support and Execution to be conducted at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF). The definitized contract value is $28,368,976.00, including options with performance through December 2012, and was funded with FY08 Foreign Military Sales funds. This acquisition does not include multi-year funding. There is no known congressional interest. The original synopsis was published on May 27, 2008 and no offers were received.
