MTS-B FY 16 Production

The Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS Division (AFLCM/WIIK intends to award an order on a sole source basis to Raytheon - McKinney for MTS-B HD/TLA DAS-4 FY 16 production effort for Predator/Reaper program. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. The proposed contract will include FY16 MTS-B HD/TLA DAS-4 Production requirements and associated Spares. Raytheon Space and Airborne System - McKinney has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary, knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights to the system; therefore to avoid duplication cost, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1. The FY16 requirement is listed below: Up to a max quantity of 62 AN/DAS-4, Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Model B High Definition/Target Location Accuracy (MTS-B HD/TLA) Turret Units (TU), hereinafter DAS-4; High Definition Electronics Units (HDEU) (Option); TBEAR Laser (Option); associated DAS-4 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) and sub-SRU initial spares; associated HDEU Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) and sub-SRU initial spares (Option); DAS-4 TU shipping containers (Option); HDEU shipping containers (Option).
