Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F3CTMG2209A001 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. (iv) This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339943 with a size standard not to exceed 500 EMP. (v) PLS6MW 30 Watt Fiber Laser System 50 Watt 10.6 micron Co2 Laser tube, Standard Coaxial Air Assist w/nose cone, Downdraft Honeycomb Cutting Table, PLS High Torque Rotary Fixture , Air Compressor w/Dryer Kit, External Exhaust Blower Kit. On site installation and 1 day training at Minot AFB - or approved equal - 1 each (vi) See attached Request for Quote (RFQ) for description of requirements and salient characteristics for the items to be acquired. (vii) Place of delivery is 300 Minuteman Drive Minot AFB, ND 58705 and is FOB destination. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the requested items. Award shall be based on best value to the government. (x) The government advises Offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Offerors are also reminded to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer.
