This amendment to the Multimedia Subscription Package solicitation, number 1605DC-17-Q-00034, modifies the requirements for Getty Images royalty free images and video collections. By incorporating provision 52.211-6, the government has changed these requirements from specific brand name mandates to brand name or equal, allowing for the submission of alternative products that meet the necessary physical, functional, or performance characteristics. To be considered, offerors proposing equal products must clearly identify the brand, make, and model number, and provide supporting descriptive literature or illustrations. The Contracting Officer will evaluate these alternatives based on the information provided in the offer. If an offeror does not explicitly state that they are providing an equal product, they will be required to provide the specific brand name product referenced in the solicitation.
