Full Description

The NRC intends to release a solicitation to acquire onsite, daily multimedia support for the NRC. Services include audivisual (AV), photographic and video teleconferencing (VTC) support needed to address planned, as well as emerging and intermittent, requirements. For AV support, the contractor will be required to provide multiple onsite personnel to perform up to six concurrent events which could include a wide variety of daily AV and photographic support services such as operation of the AV control room system for the Commission Hearing Room and Auditorium in the NRC Headquarters Complex in Rockville, Maryland; videotaping and/or photographing significant meetings and other special events such as award ceremonies and NRC-sponsored training activities; and operation and update of the NRC Digital Photo Library. For VTC support, the contractor will be required to provide multiple onsite personnel to perform up to eleven concurrent VTC sessions at multiple room locations. The contractor will be required to provide technical assistance for the operation of the NRC headquarters locations VTC systems, including installation/seetup, configuration, scheduling, and trouble-shooting. Bor both AV and VTC support, the contractor may also be required to provide additional onsite support on an as-needed basis, when needed, to address emerging or intermittent needs. The solicitation will result in a contract that includes both firm-fixed-price line items for normal support and labor-hour line items for emerging or intermittent requirements. The contract will consist of a base period of one year and four one-year options to extend the term of the contract. The projected start date for the contract is June 1, 2013. The solicitation and related amendment(s) will only be posted on www.fbo.gov on or about November 15, 2012 and proposals are anticipated to be due no later than the response date for this notice. Evaluation factors for award are anticipated to include corporate experience, technical approach, management plan, past performance information for similar contracts/orders, personnel qualifications for personnel proposed to be provided under the contract, and evaluated cost/price. The actual evaluation factors and relative importance of the evaluation factors for award will be stated in the solicitation.
