No telephone requests will be accepted. Direct your requests and communication to James Grayson, Contract Specialist, via email james.grayson@dla.mil. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs to support the UH-60 weapon systems. A total of 6 NSNs are targeted to be repriced for this contract effort. The proposed sole source action will be issued to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 78286 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Items provided by the following Sikorsky CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 78286. The proposed requirement will be for a total of three (3) years period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The attached lists of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. These items are being added to contract SPE4AX-15-D-9415, a firm fixed price with price redetermination Indefinite Quantity Contract, awarded to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation CAGE Code: 78286 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts. CONTAINER,MODULAR
Solicitation # SPRRA1-27-Q-A013
The Department of Defense, through the DLA Aviation office at Redstone Arsenal, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Synopsis for the acquisition of a modular container, identified by NSN 8145-01-044-3289 and Part Number 13414-095, to support the ASD weapon system. The scope of work requires the contractor to manage the entire production process, including supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, procurement of long-lead items, and the resolution of obsolescence issues. Additionally, the contractor must provide the necessary recurring and nonrecurring engineering services to become a qualified source. The government possesses the complete technical data package, and there are no reported restrictions regarding tooling, engineering, or manufacturing. This opportunity is identified under NAICS code 332439, which has a size standard of 600 employees. While the acquisition is currently being processed under FAR 19.1505 set-aside procedures for Women Owned Small Businesses, the government is interested in capabilities from a wide range of entities, including 8(a), small disadvantaged, service-disabled veteran-owned, and Hubzone businesses. This is currently a sources-sought effort for planning purposes under solicitation number SPRRA1-27-Q-A013, and no formal solicitation is available at this time.
