The solicitation SPRRA1-26-R-0014 issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, targets a sole source reprice effort for a five-year contract supporting turbine engine weapon systems associated with the UH-60, AH-64, and CH-47 aircraft. This acquisition covers the repricing of parts for 53 identified National Stock Numbers (NSNs) primarily related to the T700-GE-70 turboprop engine and other associated components. The contract is to be awarded exclusively to General Electric Company (CAGE code 99207) under FAR 6.302-1, which justifies the sole source acquisition based on there being only one responsible source capable of meeting the agency’s requirements. This effort includes comprehensive responsibilities such as manufacturing, inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance, and design control for the covered parts. This procurement is being conducted as a FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition and emphasizes strict export controls due to technical data restrictions governed by the Arms Export Control Act and the Export Administration Act, requiring active United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certifications for both the offeror and any sources of supply. Interested parties must submit expressions of interest or requests for solicitation to the designated Contract Specialist, James Grayson, via email. Although all responsible sources may submit offers and be considered for future solicitations, the current action requires prequalification and source approval through the Army Aviation and Missile Command public website. The solicitation does not provide pricing information, formal clauses, or specific evaluation criteria at this stage, as it functions as a sources sought synopsis aimed at market research and determining capabilities for future contracting. The work place of performance and contract administration are centered at Redstone Arsenal, AL, and the contract entails production and supply of mission-critical parts without detailed packaging, delivery, or inspection data disclosed at this phase.
