The MultiRAE has 4 versions, MultiRAE lite, MultiRAE lite pumped, MultiRAE and MultiRAE PRO. Which version do you require? a. MultiRAE 2. The RFQ mentions 12 detectors and 3 cases with custom foam, are we to assume that each case will hold 4 detectors? b. Yes, each case will contain 4EA Monitors 3. The RFQ mentions a configuration of O2/LEL/10.6ev PID for fuel cell applications, H2S, CO. However it only reference one bottle of gas, "Cal Gas -116L ecosmart 2 gas mix (calibration gas), Brand name or equal". Which sensors does the request gas cover and how does the customer propose to calibrate the other sensors? a. The referenced gas is to do a "bump check" of the LEL & O2 sensor, all sensors are calibrated at PMEL lab every 180 days. 4. Does the gas need to fit the pelican case? a. Yes, the gas will be contained within the case. 5. RFQ state "Demand flow regulators (used with calibration gases), 2EA" is that 2 per pelican case or 6 total or just QTY 2? a. Yes, there will be 2EA Demand Flow Regulators per case. 6. RFQ specifies "Coiled Teflon tubing with quick disconnect fitting for pass-thru charging (required to charge and calibrate monitor). Are we to assume the kit is to provide charging to 4 monitors and calibration? a. Yes, each case will be self-contained to do the calibration and charging for 4 monitors per case. 7. Why 2 regulators when only one gas? a. There are 2 different gases, isobutylene & methane. One gas bump checks the O2 sensor and one gas checks the LEL sensor. 8. How will the customer bump test the PID? a. We bump check the monitor by supplying the appropriate gas to the monitor while it runs a self-check to ensure the sensors are within the allowable limits. When the gas is supplied if the sensor is out of limits the monitor will give us a read out and/or an alarm to let us know it is not within limits for use.
