Multirotor small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUASs), Skydio “Or Equal”

The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Installation Contracting Center at Tyndall AFB, is soliciting quotes for a firm fixed price contract to procure two multirotor small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS). The requirement specifically calls for the Skydio X10D 3D Scan Starter solution with SL and IR NA VT300-L or an equivalent system. Each unit must include a suite of accessories, including a NightSense IR attachment, RTK/PPK, speaker, spotlight, and dropper. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside under NAICS code 336411, with delivery directed to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center in San Antonio, Texas. Technical requirements are stringent, requiring the sUAS to weigh 6 lbs or less, provide 360-degree obstacle avoidance with a range exceeding 40 feet, and feature a primary imaging sensor of at least 48 MP. Additionally, the system must have a thermal camera capable of 30milliKelvin temperature difference detection, a C2 radio range over 5 miles, and utilize GNSS without geofence limitations. The systems must be NDAA compliant, listed on the Blue List, and feature encrypted internal disk storage. Award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, where the winning contractor must meet all salient technical characteristics at the lowest quoted price.
