Municipal District of Provost No. 52 4504 – 53rd Avenue Box 300 Provost, Alberta T0B 3S0 Request for Proposals FOR Fencing Requirements 2026 The M.D. of Provost No. 52 is currently accepting proposals for the purpose of selecting a qualified proponent to undertake all fencing requirements for the 2026 construction season. Scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: • Provision of necessary staff and equipment. • Approximately 22 miles of 3-wire fence with the possibility of some 4-wire. • The installation and removal of temporary fence where required. • Coordination of product supply and delivery with the supplier (paid for by the Municipality). • The ability to perform the work when requested by the Public Works Operations Managers and/or the Agriculture Service Board Fieldman. Successful proposals will include the following: 1. Company profile, including equipment and staff inventories necessary to indicate an ability to complete the scope of work as specified. 2. A demonstrated ability to complete the scope of work requested in its entirety, within the timelines specified. 3. Not less than two references that will verify capacity, ability, quality of work, and demonstrate both experience in application of the indicated product and municipal experience. 4. A definitive cost estimate, presented in whichever fashion the proponent considers adequate, reflective of their business and billing practices, and provides acknowledgment and recognition of the noted scope of work. Mobilization costs will be clearly noted and separated. 5. A cost per unit (per mile, etc.) for removal of existing fence, installation of new 3-wire and 4-wire fence, and installation/removal of 3-wire temporary fencing as required.
