The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass (Municipality) is a community with an unparalleled natural setting located within the southwest corner of the Province of Alberta. The Municipality is seeking qualified businesses to provide design and construction services for a fire training structure that is adequate and appropriate for the training and development of municipal fire services personnel. Services to be provided will include design, construction, installation, administration, and post construction support. The Municipality is referring to this project as the Crowsnest Pass Fire Rescue Training Structure which includes the design, construction, and installation of a modular training structure that incorporates ISO freight containers (shipping containers) as the main building blocks. The structures are required to be compliant with the relevant building and safety regulations listed within this document. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for interested companies to prepare and submit a formal response to this request in accordance with the requirements outlined within. Submitted information will be reviewed by the Municipality and evaluated to select a company to undertake the design, construction, and implementation as outlined in Appendix A.
