The 144th Fighter Wing at Fresno Air National Guard Base (ANGB) intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for non-personal construction services, to include all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and supervision necessary to remove four existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units and their auxiliary air ducting and electrical and drain lines. After all existing HVAC units have been removed, the contractor shall install a new 40-ton HVAC system, necessary ducting, electrical, and drain lines to provide for the following training equipment environmental constraints - Operating Temperature: 59 to 78 F, (15 to 26 C), Operating Humidity: 35% to 80% RH (non-condensing), Storage Temperature: 32 to 120 F, (-29 to 38 C), Storage Humidity: 20% to 80% RH (non-condensing). Services shall also include the removal and replacement of existing dust covers with custom-made roof adapters to transition from current ductwork in room serviced by the new packaged units. In order to maintain the existing security integrity of the building and comply with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Number 705, no new penetrations in the building are permitted. The Contractor must use existing penetrations to the maximum extent practicable. All work must also conform to Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-410-01.
