TITLE: - - - - - SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - - - - SOL: - - - - - - 36C24222Q0233 DUE: Friday January 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST. - - - - SET ASIDE: - Not Set-Aside - - - - - - NAICS: - - - - 339113: Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing POP: 01/24/2022 through 08/31/2022 AGENCY: - - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 POC: - - - - - - Mariangie Rivera, email contact@example.gov - - - - - - - - - DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO MIDMARK CORPORATION. Market research was conducted, and it was determined that Midmark Corporation is the only vendor capable of providing the required services in delivering and the installation of the prepurchase exam tables Midmark Model 225, as well as the removal of old exam tables and taken to designated area as stated in the statement of work. This service shall include: The Contractor in taking full responsibility for any damages, defects, and any other conditions acquired outside of the equipment warranty due to delivery and handling of the equipment from the seller to the buyer, as well as, to include protection during installation and setup. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, accessories, etc., for complete delivery and installation services. Delivery service shall include the installation of the new prepurchase Midmark Exam Procedure Tables, Model 225. This service shall also include removal of old existing exam tables in the following clinics: ENT, Urology, Podiatry, and Specialty Clinics. The Contractor shall include services that provides a complete delivery, installation, and removal of the equipment as stated in the statement of work. All services and replacements must be performed on Saturday unless otherwise requested and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. - - - - Furthermore, no contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. - - - - Pease note that the Government MAY consider all Expressions of Interest (EOI) received by Wednesday January 12, 2022 by 12:00 PM EST. - A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
